Many people associate reducing the miles they drive and fly, conserving electricity, insulating their homes as major factors in reducing their carbon footprint, which they are, but have you thought about how much Carbon Dioxide is used to produce a printer cartridge? When you do you will understand the TRUE COST of that cartridge!
All very interesting stuff eh!! Thats why we MUST MAKE A STAND NOW, stop burying our heads in the sand as this is an important issue that needs to be addressed.

Who are Lasertech?
Lasertech have been manufacturing and supplying Printer Cartridges for over 19 years. The Lasertech Brand is manufactured using the outer plastic shell collected from the Lasertech Recycling Programme, but replacing all internal components.
They know an awful lot about cartridges, in fact they have always offered a recycling scheme for their customers, that's 19 years!!!
Did you know that still only 25% of Printer Cartridges are recycled therefore saved from landfill? Lasertech manufacture and recycle in the UK, therefore their cartridges have only travelled a maximum of 800 miles, compared to a cartridge manufactured and recycled in the USA which may have travelled over 7000 miles. The difference in the carbon footprint is massive. So think twice when putting a new cartridge in your printer, do you know where is was produced? And what are you going to do with the empty one?
It is due to information like this that makes me determined to make a stand!
